I will use the I-Pad Minis to help students work in small groups. As a seasoned teacher I realize how important it is to have centers during a reading and math block. One way I will utilize the I-Pads is to have centers. One of the groups will be logged onto IXL. IXL offers thousands of adaptive online practice skills, with complete coverage K-12 in Language Arts and Math. These practice skills are designed to meet Washington state standards, plus real-time reports on standards mastery and trouble spots. Having these I-Pads would allow me to prepare activities for both my highest performing and most struggling students.
