I recently became the permanent teacher to a wonderful group of third graders. The only problem is, there were no games, puzzles or activities left behind from their previous teacher. Not only that, but the weather is changing fast and we are looking ahead to many long days with no outside playtime! I want to give my students more opportunities to practice patience, teamwork, compassion, and problem-solving through their play. The materials I am asking for - games, puzzles, and Legos - will help my class become better at cooperating, problem-solving, and learning to play together with respect. Let's play!
