My students are very loving, but they live in a low-income area. Our school is a public school in Michigan that has recently been taken over by another system of public schooling. Our system is now solely student-centered and I will meet students where they are at in their learning. The stigma of a "grade level" is no longer needed. We meet students wherever they are. They deserve the best education, but our school is very lacking in resources and in funds. I have tried to buy as much as I can for them to start off the new school year right, but I still feel that they deserve more.
