My students are inquisitive, energetic, and amazing! My mixture of students come from all areas of the world and all areas of life. About half are low socio-economic and on fee waiver. However, they perform well and are dedicated to their studies. We are an urban school rising above traditional urban problems. Our school is resilient rising above many problems associated with lack of funds. Our state shamefully boasts the lowest money spent per pupil in the nation, yet our students are able to do more on less than most. Still we are struggling for some of the basics.
