Students need opportunities to apply what they are learning and show mastery, without sitting at a table and completing worksheets. Many of our students have sensory needs and desire learning opportunities that are hands on and are more meaningful than pencil/paper assignments. Through the sensory light table, the are unlimited opportunities for students to practice what they have learned in an engaging and new way. The light table will allow them an opportunity to explore learning through different sensory mediums and will be an exciting and fun hands on learning opportunity that many students will be able to enjoy and utilize.
