Many of our students are economically disadvantaged and have not had the opportunity to experience many enriching things. Add to that the fact that we are in a brand new school (good thing) and consequently have almost no science lab supplies due to budget cuts (bad thing), students will still be limited in their experiences until we can acquire supplies.
