These items will help transform our currently sterile and bare environment into a beautifully natural inspired safe space where students blooming brains will mirror their blooming environment. Currently, our class lacks elements that evoke warmth and we are in need of items that will make the classroom warmer, cozier, and nature-inspired. Although we are indoors, through the décor I hope to bring the outdoors in with the items selected. Lastly, the books I chose are powerfully affirming books that the students will see themselves represented in and celebrated. I can't wait to see the looks on my kiddos' faces when they see their newly transformed classroom and library!
