The students I teach come from very diverse backgrounds. They include many low income students, bilingual students, and students with learning disabilities. These students come to school each day excited to learn and improve their lives. The teachers in our math department have worked hard to integrate technology into the math curriculum with the available resources. However, due to teacher turnover, this particular classroom is not only behind the times, it is technologically behind their peer's classrooms. The students come alive when technology is being used in mathematics. As a teacher, their excitement and perseverance motivates me to find new ways to integrate and use technology in the classroom.

About my class
