These read aloud books have been selected very carefully for my classroom. They will help my students become engaged in reading and foster learning. Each of these chosen books is filled with many lessons such as teaching the craft and structure of a text, grammar, phonics, writing skills, inferring, key ideas, details, questions, punctuation, poetry, comprehension, and making connections. Having these books in our classroom will help to create a library of learning for my students! Each book that has been selected to focus on a First Grade ELA Standard. They will be used during whole group read aloud time.
