I have 22 bilingual students eager to do their best every day. My kids come from a title I school, which means they have free or reduced lunch and breakfast due to their parents being below the poverty line. This is a culturally diverse school. We have Asian, African-American, Anglo and Hispanic students. This school has a very high ELL student population. My students struggle so much with reading and math because they need to learn in both languages. They do not have any assistance at home due to their parents being unable speak English and sometimes unable to read in their home language.

About my class
