I'm moving from Special Education to First Grade general education because our rising kinder kids are a very high at-risk population and they are really going to need the support that a teacher with Special Education experience can provide. My students are AWESOME kids--I've had the pleasure of working with a few of them in kinder this year. They are warm, giggly, and so yearning to grow their brains. I can't wait to keep working with them! But, they are going to need intensive structure and support to get there. This carpet can help provide us with important classroom routines that will make learning possible!
