My students practice one hour, 5 days a week during class, and then practice for approximately 3 hours a week at home. They dedicate this time in order to be successful in competition and make our school proud but unfortunately our drum set is so old that it has been in our classroom since I attended the school! The students raise money to pay for entry fees for our competitions, new music, and repairs, but there never seems to be enough for new equipment.
