These materials will provide hands-on experiences for my students and will be used for many years to come. Students can form a tornado in a tube while studying weather. They can build a variety of sculptures using various materials to test stability, height, weight, etc. They can build a habitat for the beetle then practice coding skills by programing the beetle to crawl through their habitat. The makey makey kit will allow students to work with circuit boards and do experiments through trial and error to see what makes the circuits work. These items would give my students even more opportunities for hands-on learning.
