Nearly all of my students come from low income families, they are predominately African-American, and are from inner city communities. They have an unfathomable amount of challenges before them and have a tremendous amount of achievements behind/ahead thus far in their educational careers. They are energetic, passionate, and eager to learn, but need more resources to do so.
