The playground items purchased through this grant will enhance the play structures and sand box already available to our 30 preschool students. Currently we have the "bones" of our playground, but not the "meat" needed for creative , cooperative gross motor engagement in a safe environment. The students generated a list of items they would like to see added to our playground for movement and fun: push trucks, gator balls for group games, see saws and padding for the poles of our shade structure that bump the sweet heads of our students. Help them know that their words and bodies have power!
