My students are Advanced (AICE Level) 11th graders (many are "Gifted"). They are driven to be successful in school and always work to achieve top grades. They attend a public school that has many programs for all students. They are enrolled in AICE English Language and are expected to read and write at a high level. Many of the students LOVE to read at home, but not for school. They find the books assigned in school to be boring or not relevant to their lives. When they find a book they like, they practically devour it, reading at a pace astonishing for their age. They are curious and intellectual, constantly questioning the books and the world. They love to learn and they love to read good books.
