My students have an insatiable appetite for knowledge. They are hard workers and are incredibly excited to walk in my door every morning! We have a strong community in our classroom and in our building! These students live in a very urban environment in central Indiana and some of them have faced major obstacles already in their young lives. I am ever impressed by the respect they show to one another and by their ability to live by our current classroom motto: "...[it] is not the triumph but the struggle...[it] is not to have conquered but to have fought well." -Baron de Coulbertin
