The oil pastels will be used in class and at home to create paintings. My students cannot share supplies this year. They need an individual set of soft blendable colors which will be easy to transport back and forth. Students will design and create art based on their surroundings, art history, the environment or something as simple as a shaded apple. They will make Paul Cezanne and their art teacher proud. Color theory is also easier to learn with a blendable set of pastels. My students will astonish our part of Appalachia.
