Our school is the only one in our city that provides educational opportunities for pregnant teens and young mothers. Our goal is to provide an educational environment that encourages and nurtures young women so that they will go on to become great mothers, great scholars and great citizens. Many of our young women face internal and external struggles yet many are determined to succeed, despite the obstacles they face. This is the first year we're offering a course in Journalism and Media. We've received a video camera through a grant. We need a laptop for video editing, as well as news reporting on various assignments.

About my class
