These books will enhance the print-rich classroom I strive to create. A classroom library should be a place that my students really enjoy-and one that will promote imagination and wonder. Students will be able to choose books, which will help them continue to enjoy independent reading time as well as take them out the classroom via reading. My students need independent learning time to grow, learn and build self esteem. My students often shy away from math because they are not confident with their math skills so the hand held devices will give them the independent practice they need to learn.
