Our students are a diverse group of learners at an urban public school. Our school has several units to serve special populations, such as auditory impaired, autism, bilingual, and social behavioral skills, in addition to the general education population. Our school culture is very inclusive as all these different populations work together within classrooms; therefore students need to understand how their words have power - power to harm or heal. We want to empower our students to stand up for each other to make our community stronger.

About my class
