Our classroom is nothing but non-traditional fun. Students are always actively participating in technology-based and hands-on, project-based learning. I am constantly adapting and changing what we are doing to meet the needs of my diverse student population. My goal is to help these students become independent and achieve their own personal goals despite the difficulties they may have learning or outside of school. I work with a a wide range of abilities within the special education population, and I JUST LOVE IT! I teach self-contained courses as well as co-taught courses. As of 2017, 64% of our students come from low-income homes (free/reduced lunch). These students care about their education and achieving their best despite their circumstances.
