I teach in a very rural community in coastal South Carolina. Our school is 80% free and reduced lunch and very poverty stricken. Our community values education but lacks the resources and the financial ability to assist students with exploring the exciting world of technology. All of my students love interacting with technology and utilize every opportunity to make the most of it. They thrive and truly enjoy expressing their ideas, finding resources and materials to use in class, and publishing their work. Even the simplest technology projects are so exciting to them because they get to do it hands-on and interact with technology.
