The students will work on Osmo with the seven iPads I currently have in my room in small group centers to enhance their foundational reading and math skills. The language arts skills include letters, sounds, and word building. The math skills include number sense and spatial knowledge. The students attach the Osmo pieces to use manipulatives along with technology for interactive educational games. Osmo also allows time for students to explore their creative genius skills. These inner city students are rarely pushed to higher goals and gifted thinking. Using Osmo will build strength in gaps of knowledge and open new horizons for out of the box thinking.
