My students are talented children who are about to begin a journey through third grade with high expectations for themselves. They are from a low-income area of Louisiana, and they deserve the same opportunities and materials that their high-income peers receive. I know their potential, and through the year they will know their potential as well. Growth in reading is extremely important for them, because many are coming in below grade level. I have high growth goals set for my students, but I need your help to acquire the materials that will ensure my students meet these goals.

About my class
