My students are full of energy! They belong to low-income families, receive free/reduced meals in school, and many are refugees. Yet, they are hungry to learn each day. They are quick to "push back" and are always ready to make connections using their personal experiences. Their biggest challenge is acceptance, understanding, and respecting each other's differences. Overall, my students are ambitious individuals whose energy, when channeled, can lead to true leadership.
