There's never a dull moment with first graders. They are like little sponges, everything you say they absorb. Not only are they curious and eager to learn, they are discovering the world around them. During this time, they are learning so much such as the foundational skills of reading and writing, all the way to social skills. I teach at an IB school, where I'm developing thinkers and future leaders of tomorrow. We have doctors, teachers, armed service members, and future o Olympians just to name a few, in our classrooms. My students look forward to hands-on-activities and brain breaks to get the wiggles out.

About my class
