As an elementary counselor, I work with kids of all ages. I may be teaching a group guidance lesson, a small social skills group, or meeting with an indivual student that is struggling. I use literature throughout the year to help reach our students. Books are non threatening, cover a variety of topics, and opens up our lesson for much needed discussion. I chose books specifically to target many areas that will better help our students throughout their elementary school years. It takes a village to help the next generation. I hope you partner with me to help these very deserving kids.
