The majority of students sit at a desk all day. Flexible seating allows students the opportunity to select the type of seating that works best for them on any given day. One day a student might work best by standing the next day a student might work better by sitting on the floor. Students learn in a variety of ways and that includes how they sit in my classroom. Flexible seating allows student to choose where they work best. Items included in this project will give students a variety of choices. By funding this project, students will gain the option of bungee chairs, floor disks, and bar stools. Another option is sitting on a compass area rug. This items is helpful both as a fun place to sit and a learning tool in the classroom. Flexible seating options give students the freedom to choose what works best for them.
