I am working with 4th graders who are learning the English Language! What an exciting and scary time for my students who receive all their support at school regarding language development. ELL students are brave, independent, funny, strong, and teach me something new every day! The classroom has limited hands on activities and is a small room that houses 30 kids! The school was built in 1929 and has an interesting history and unique layout. Most of these students are on free or reduced lunch due to the low income surrounding area. Many of my students do not have materials at home to complete their homework, projects, or just a book to read!
