I am in my 5th year teaching the resource math classes for 7th and 8th graders in Coweta, OK and my 6th year in the district. We are a moderate sized community with high poverty and ever-increasing needs. The multitude of changes to our standards over the past several years in addition to the addition of one-to-one Chromebooks has led to new challenges. I am hoping to build a supportive learning environment that will create interest and passion for math among my students.
