My students attend a charter school and are from all over the city in Tennessee. Many of them have never taken a science class before where they actually learned something, and they WANT to learn. They are so excited for the hands on activities and presentations I have planned for them that students who have already taken Biology come in after school and tell me they wish they were in my class. My students need to develop a sense of curiosity, and with clear visuals they will better remember what they're learning and how it applies to their lives.
