I teach a computer graphics class/school newspaper and am organizer and sponsor of a program for at risk males (The Brothers of Stomp) at a community centered public school. The community is lower-level income families, where the majority of parents have no or limited college education. Our students are looking for positive things to build hope and instead of being under achievers they may begin to become the best individuals they can be. I know that the programs that I am sponsoring have had positive effect on my students. The program has had better than 90% of it's member graduate and 86% attend at least a year of college. Many have gone on and bee productive members of their community
