The majority of my 100 students come from low-income households, are on free and reduced lunches, and represent many different ethnic groups. Overall, despite the daily challenges they face, they are eager to learn. They love to take part in projects and working with their peers to discover many new scientific concepts. Our school is a Title 1 school that provides our students with many great programs and support. However, funding for science labs is unfortunately scarce.
