The majority of my students are the sons and daughters of either active duty military or retired veterans. More than 50% of these students are from low income families. 100% of the students are considered at risk for dropping out of school. Despite the emotional and economic pitfalls that these middle school students face, they want to be engaged in school. They need and deserve to be engaged in school.
