I have the pleasure of teaching a group of 5rd grade students who are in a low income neighborhood in South Florida. My students are from a Hispanic culture where they do not have the luxury to have technology at home. So for some this is the only source of finding information and using technology to build their knowledge. Like any child, technology intrigues them and they learn better when it is used.
