One student never went to school. Another student was constantly suspended. Yet another slept through every class - he was bored. All of our students have been unsuccessful in a traditional school setting for one reason or another. Here at PACE Career Academy Charter School, they look forward to showing up for school because they are engaged; their behavior is under control because they are invested in their learning process; and they aren't bored because they are a partner in planning their education. Students have input into the design and delivery of all of their classes. Some students like books, some like to learn on-line, but all of them like activities that are interactive. Most of their classes are individualized, but some of them choose to do classes together in small groups so they have an opportunity for more discussion.
