Every night, my family gathers at the dinner table to discuss our day. We listen to each other's victories and struggles. My "school family" needs a place for to gather to share our learning. We need a central place to come together. This carpet gives us a specific area to gather and connect. We are a family and we need a place to learn and share together. Learning to listen to other people is a life-long skill. We work hard on learning this skill in first grade. We try to listen and learn from each other. This carpet will gather us together and help foster our learning family.
