A horseshoe table will allow my students to work in small groups. I teach many classes and this table would help make my groups run more smoothly. This horseshoe table will allow students and teachers to sit close to one another, making and encouraging ideal learning. Active tables encourage social behavior, creativity, and cooperation. My students will greatly benefit from this table as they are able to write on it and show their work as we usually do in math. Math is an area in which students cannot afford to be struggling. They need to be able to understand word problems. This table will allow students to easily show their thinking to the teacher! My students will also be more focused when they are in a close proximity to the teacher.
