Please help me support the development of innovative, future-ready students! The materials requested in this DonorsChoose project are designed to do two overarching things: 1. The hands-on manipulatives, such as the Magnetic Building tools, were selected to develop an interest in and build capacity with STEM skills at the elementary level. In addition, through active explorations, students will develop important skills such as critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, perseverance, and collaboration. 2. In order to develop future-ready, enthusiastic learners, we must create innovative learning spaces that reflect our rapidly changing world. The flexible seating options (floor seats) requested are designed to inspire student learning and support their diverse learning interests and needs.
