Imagine being able to CHOOSE a spot in the classroom that fits your learning needs! One size does NOT fit all! Flexible seating has been shown to increase student engagement and reduce behavior problems in the classroom. All by offering them choices in their learning and allowing them to take responsibility for themselves. Sitting in a hard plastic chair all day is NO FUN! Giving students the opportunity to move around the classroom with numerous seating options benefits everyone! Even as an adult I get tired of sitting through an all day training. Being confined to one chair day after day at school has to get tiresome for the students. All of the items requested will be used exclusively by students everyday. The yoga mats and clipboards are for students will give students the opportunity to spread out on the floor and complete work. The yoga balls will be used for students at regular table height but provide a more comfortable seating option with movement. The poly spots will be used on the carpet for direct instruction so students have enough space to focus on lessons. The file crates will be fitted with wood and foam on top then covered with fabric as another flexible seating option. Give the kiddos a chance to seize the power of choice and donate today!
