My students are brilliant! They work hard to show up everyday and even harder to learn despite many obstacles and challenges. We are a low-income urban California school, roughly 98% of my students are youth of color. The population is mostly Latino, African-American and Pacific Islander. Over 85% of my students receive free or reduced lunch.
