My fifth grade class will be filled with creative, talented, smart and goal-driven students. I teach in a Title I elementary school, where 93% of students are on a free or reduced priced lunch. Many of my students are from single-family homes, living with grandparents and/or family members with siblings in the home as well. Many of my students come from homes where English is not the first language. Even though I receive state allocation money I'm only able to buy the essential pencils, copy paper, folders, computer ink...etc. This year school year I've made the transition from Kindergarten to Fifth Grade and I'm starting from scratch in every way. With your donations, you will be providing learning opportunities, learning tools and a print-rich environment. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of my students.
