We are a Title I (high poverty) school, hit especially hard by state budget cuts. I'm teaching a multi-age class (grades K-2) where students stay with me for three years. We are a tight-knit family of learners and we take great pleasure in books! In our classroom, we promote compassion, good citizenship and social responsibility. When my students "graduate" to third grade, I want them to be well-rounded learners with a lifelong thirst for knowledge.
