Welcome to our third grade class! Our classroom has a HIGH focus on building our reading skills. We work every day to meet our goal of ending the year on grade level, or by making one and a half years growth as measured by our Guided Reading levels, so we can all be prepared for higher learning. Reading is so powerful because it is the key to all of our learning. Therefore, we believe that the content areas (social studies and science) also have a place during this time of our day.
