Being able to use models to create molecules will allow my students to understand the difficult concept of atomic structure, and the density of water. Using the adapters to take their own pictures and videos of slides and live microbes will definitely be a plus in helping them create various cell-related projects, including comparing and contrasting structure and function - even engineering the "perfect cell." The Volcanoes and Earthquake kit will also help with differentiation since I have a diverse group of learners, some who need more support than others. My goal is to have classes which are excited about learning. These manipulatives will help infuse STEM and 3-D learning into the curriculum. I firmly believe that this interdisciplinary way of learning coupled with the tools to learn will definitely lead to more engaged students across the board.
