I have many students that share a passion for playing and learning about music. I've watched many past students continue their music education through high school and into college. These students would not be able to go to college if not for music scholarships. I see the same passion in many of my current students. However, If we do not have the instruments needed to play I'm afraid I will loose those students. If we loose students then we will also loose the band program. The area I teach in desperately needs music education as an outlet for students to stay out of trouble in their neighborhoods.
