My students are eager to learn and demonstrate their 'mathematical thinking'! I teach an inclusive class of first graders consisting of regular and special education students with a variety of exceptionalities. We are a Title 1 school from a small, rural area and are facing LARGE cuts in funding, increasing furlough days, and loss of personnel. Our school is finding it more difficult to provide us with the basic necessities required to educate our students.
