In today's world if you are not tech-savvy you are automatically a huge step behind. My students with learning disabilities already have a disadvantage of having to struggle to master what other students learn easily in reading or math. With the addition of Chromebooks to supplement instruction and assessment, my students will have practice and gain confidence in their abilities to access technology. Chromebooks will be used by the students to access information, write responses and essays, and utilize some of the programs designed to help fill the gaps. As an added benefit, student's confidence will grow as they will be able to successfully navigate and perform their best on the required standard based testing on computers.
