My students are in first grade. They attend a diverse economic school with approximately 400 students. Almost half of them are lower income students, which means they receive federal funding to pay for their breakfast and lunch. I have found that using laptops in the classroom during reading, writing and math periods will motivate them to learn each and every day. In today's society kids need to learn in a different way and a laptop is certainly the way to do it.
